Letters To (and From) The Easter Bunny

One of my favorite things to do is sit by the fire and read and write. I'm an avid reader of all sorts of books, and I love to write stories for kids. But one of my favorite things to read is letters. Especially letters from kids. I'll do my best to answer them, and I'll share some here that I think you'll all like. How did you get in our house to leave all those eggs and candies and dolls all over the living room? I was sad because I thought you wouldn’t be able to come because of the blizzard.

Dear Sweet Natalie,

We have been celebrating spring for thousands of years. You are right, that it would have been very hard for me to get to your house in the blizzard, but, luckily, I have help. One of the greatest things about TinkerTank is that we were able to all share helpers, and Bruce (the Tooth Fairy) and I both use a lot of other small animals to help us out when things get tough. Believe it or not, we work with local house mice and rats to pull off things like an indoor Easter on a snowy day. So, the next time you see the house mice, thank them. And I’m glad you liked it.
