Catherine Claus (who is mostly just called Cat) is the youngest of the seven daughters of Santa and Mrs. Claus. Not an easy position to be in! Most of the time, she felt a little stuck and invisible, which resulted in a serious case of Wanderlust. As soon as she could, Cat left the North Pole to attend college in Seattle – a place she still loves and returns to whenever she needs anything, including a quick getaway.

From a very early age, Cat was an avid reader, and that grew naturally into being an avid storyteller. After spending years away from home, she returned to use her talent and experience to become the Director of Media Relations for TinkerTank. She is the first person to assume this position, as TinkerTank – and each of its members – has always operated in secrecy. So, it’s up to Cat to make sure that the information people have is accurate - and interesting.

In the process of learning about TinkerTank, she has fallen quite in love with the company and it is rumored that Cat is being groomed to be the next Santa Claus. Her sisters find this ironic, as she was always the crabby child who couldn’t be bothered to join in any games, not even with the reindeer.
