Her background is unique at TinkerTank, as no one really knows where she came from. One day, many years ago, she showed up at the door of an orphanage in Montreal, Canada. From the moment that she arrived, she was a mystery to the adults. She never spoke a word while she was there, but others would gather around her and she would hum beautiful songs that would calm those who were crying, and lull those who wouldn’t sleep.
She left as mysteriously as she arrived, and met Jack-O-Lantern in a field in France when he was visiting his home. He immediately recognized her silent wisdom, and he brought her to TinkerTank with him. She still hums beautiful songs and attracts people to her - including the 462 little ones that she calls her own, because although no one knows where they came from either, it is very clear that our Bunny is raising them with the kind of values that will make the world a better place.
It is that generosity of spirit that she brings not only to her job as Director of Community Relations, but to the spirit of Easter, the holiday with which she is most closely associated. She reminds us, on a daily basis, that love and hope are all around us and just waiting to bloom (even some place as cold as the North Pole.)
