Santa Claus - CEO

If anyone can inspire creativity and celebration in people all over the world, it’s Santa Claus. Although people have called him by various names throughout time, Santa Claus has been a beloved figure for centuries.

Caricatures aside, this Santa is a very real man who lives a very jolly life. The current Santa inherited the position from his father, and he from his father. He has has 7 daughters, the youngest of which, Catherine (but everyone calls her Cat,) is currently the Media Relations Director for TinkerTank. Rumor has it that she is being groomed to take over for her father, which will make her the first female Santa in history.

A lifelong child, Santa brings pure joy and playfulness to his job as CEO of TinkerTank. Occasionally, Mrs. Claus accuses him of playing too much, though he swears its part of his job. When he was younger, he wanted to be an architect or engineer, so he has brought a lot of engineering to his job of creating new toys. He tries very hard to deliver toys that will help kids to think and create – he’s a huge fan of simple robotics, computer programming and engineering, and has a penchant for precocious toys and precocious kids. (He’s been known to say “nerds are good.”)

When he’s not working, Santa plays with his reindeer a lot, builds snow castles, plays with his grandchildren (market research,) and likes to cross country ski. (Believe it or not, Santa’s a bit of a fitness buff!) His grandchildren have built a half-pipe in TinkerTown and are teaching him to use it with both a snowboard and skateboard, doing their best to keep him young.

Surprising Santa Facts...

He’s not fat at all. That’s just a big suit he wears to keep himself warm while he’s flying around. And it’s a special suit that he can slip right out of so that he can easily go in and out of chimneys all night long.

Sometines the folks in the toy factory don't want him around because he just starts playing so much and goofs off so much that his "helping" isn't always helpful.
